Extensive experience in science and technology development, both in academic and in large and small business settings. PhD in theoretical physics. 10+ years, IBM Systems Division. Founder of several VC-funded startup companies. 10+ years experience as project leader and developer in Gnu/Linux software. Patents in graphics and CPU hardware architecture. Publications in theoretical physics, including recent publications in mathematics. Current focus is on the application of statistical methods for the semantic processing of language.
